Unlikeable people doing banal and/or despicable things, which could still be salvageable, if only anyone involved had a sense of humor.

Not funny.

Not well written or acted – things that should not have been affected by the budget (or lack thereof).

A good turn by Eckhart in what is otherwise a derivative alien shmup.

Like a decent episode of the groundbreaking and thoughtful series.

Quite unintentionally funny, due in large part to the spit-balled script.

Disjointed, but represents the ceiling for what “Project X” could have been.

Very pretty, which makes so much window dressing for what is essentially a straightforward creature feature.

A good idea, with a good supporting cast, that looks and sounds good, and is somehow terrible. Based on this effort, it can be said that MacFarlane has an awful sense of humor, and should not be allowed a budget for anything else.

Taut, serious spy thriller, but mostly a reminder of the brilliance lost with Hoffman’s death.
