Very good premise.

Excellent turn by octogenarian June Squibb as the wife of the protagonist.

Very poorly thought out.

Made me nostalgic for the Hercules and Xena TV shows.

“Hey, let’s make Titanic, but instead of ships and history, let’s have angels and miracles!”

Very good performances in a story I happened to not like.

Science fiction with a bunch of philosophy and symbolism. Should have been just my thing, but couldn’t be made to care about the characters.
