Dead Again (1991) 50%
It took 23 years and one re-watch to adjust my opinion of this from “decent whodunit” to “atrociously acted silliness”.
Death Race 2000 (1975) 80%
Classic dystopic satire.
The Company Men (2011) 70%
A “times is tough” tale told about as well as Hollywood could be expected to tell it. Realistic in its partially plotless portrayal – people lose jobs and then things go badly.
Outcast (2014) 25%
Awful script, awful accents, awful acting. Filmed in a picturesque valley somewhere (+5%).
Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs (2009) 50%
The target demographic age for this series seems to get younger with each edition.
Diggstown (1992) 80%
Extraordinarily fun story and an excellent cast.
Dirty Dancing – Havana Nights (2004) 30%
Inert. The female lead (Garai) has the interesting quality of appearing to be on the verge of crying at all times.
The Company You Keep (2013) 50%
Quite a cast was required to make this an average thriller.
The Day After Tomorrow (2004) 70%
Fun disaster porn.
