I get that the audience is expected to view this as a character study, rather than a how-to on gangster logistics, but there are simply too many details glossed over.

City Teacher (2007) 60%
For an uneven sermon shot for $100, not that bad.
The Cold Light of Day (2012) 50%
Unintentionally silly action flick, complete with a gratuitous and illogical car chase (as many of the good ones are).
Cold Mountain (2003) 70%
A strikingly high body count for an acclaimed movie.
Charade (1963) 60%
The repartee between Grant and Hepburn seems quite foreign today, and the romance amidst the homicides is off-putting. Otherwise a clever and well-made comedic thriller.
The Confidant (2010) 20%
Backing this seems to be an interesting story that could be told, but wasn’t, amid all the bad characterization and schlock.
Cricket on the Hearth (1967) 20%
Dated pimp-vehicle for Danny Thomas’ family & friends. I kept hoping an abominable stop-action snowman would intercede to wreak havoc.
Frozen (2013) 30%
If the gender of each character was reversed, this movie would have been panned, and there would have been more than a couple articles decrying it as sexist.
Dawn of the Dead (1979) 90%
Excellent.
The Longest Week (2014) 20%
Condescending display of vanity from Wes Anderson/Woody Allen wannabe. Even includes a middle finger to the audience as it refers to its own pretentiousness near the end of the film.
