Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters (2013) 40%
At some point, somebody wanted this to be more lighthearted like “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”. Not sure if that happened too early or too late.
The Last Keepers (2013) 30%
Squeaky-clean environmentalist witches deal with unrealistic teenage drama.
The Interpreter (2005) 50%
Fairly boring thriller with sprinkles that make it seem classy, smart, and important.
Happy Gilmore (1996) 70%
Adam Sandler’s (and perhaps golf’s) greatest movie.
Heat (1995) 80%
The apex of Michael Mann’s accumulated career knowledge, with a great cast.
Heaven Is for Real (2014) 30%
The depictions herein of things commonly thought supernatural come across as the most realistic aspects of the film – certainly when compared with its idealized and illogical portrayal of life in the plains.
Heaven’s Prisoners (1996) 40%
For the first 45 minutes, an interesting story set in an interesting location with an interesting cast threatened to overcome the awful acting, dialogue, characters, motivation, and accents. But then the movie went on for another hour-and-a-half.
Inherit the Wind (1960) 80%
A lot of bloviated dialogue, but the conflict between persecuted thinkers and aggressor believers is quite prescient.
The Informant! (2009) 70%
An entertaining exploration of a particular, egocentric psychology.
