An excess of crude humor, but better than the premise might imply, due to a good cast.

Franchise has progressed from looking like an algorithmic screensaver combined with metal-gnashing sounds, but I don’t think I’ll ever be sold. Perhaps my opinion would differ if I was from the proper generation, thought the director wasn’t awful, or could believe Shia LaBeouf as an action hero.

Funny, clever comedy with the proper amount of science-fiction reference. Probably my favorite Pegg vehicle to date, including Shaun of the Dead.

A very interesting, emotional story involving a bastion of rationality.
